Combining wine tasting, lunchtime conversations with the winemakers and cellar visits, this specialist Winelands & Wildlife Safari Small Group tour, also includes cultural visits to the city of Cape Town, and a 3-day Big 5 safari experience close to the world-famous Kruger National Park.
Your tour leader will be Iain Cottam, who is passionate about South African wines and who over the years has come to know personally many of its key players. He is also a co-partner with Aase Ellingsen of the specialist travel company African Sensations.

This curated Small Group tour will take you to the beautiful city of Cape Town, and one of the best Big 5 lodges near to the Kruger National Park, and of course there is the fabulous Winelands area of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Swartland and Hermanus. Not only will the incredible landscape take your breath away, but you will visit many of South Africa’s top vineyards and meet the winemakers and understand how grape production and distributions systems work, to bring their wine to your table.
